Tremont Media designs and runs websites for local businesses. Tremont Media is a trade name of Flame Lab LLC, a Connecticut limited liability company ("we" or "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

What we collect

When you ask for designs or a quote: your name, business name, and email address, and, if you give them, your phone number and anything else you tell us.
When you become a client: your billing details, and the details and photos you send for your site. Payments are handled by Stripe, and we never see or store your full card number.
When you email, text, or call us: what you send us and how to reach you.
Public business information: to prepare a homepage design for a business, we may use details the business has published itself, such as its public business listing and its own website. That covers its name, address, phone number, services, hours, and service area.
Visits to this site: we count visits with analytics that don't use cookies. They record the pages viewed, the site that sent you here, your browser language, and your screen size, and they don't identify you.

How we use it

To send your homepage designs, follow up about them, and prepare a quote.
To build, host, and update your site, and to bill for it.
To reply to you, and to send service emails such as renewal reminders.
To keep this site working, secure, and useful.
To meet our legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

Who we share it with

We don't sell or rent your information. We share it only with service providers that help us run Tremont Media, such as website hosting, design tools, payments, and email delivery, and only so they can do that work. We may also disclose information when the law requires it, or as part of a merger or sale of our business.

How long we keep it

Design previews are deleted 14 days after we share them.
If a business we contacted doesn't become a customer, we delete its information 180 days after our last contact, keeping only what we need to honor a request not to contact it again.
For customers, we keep information while the site is active, and afterward only as long as legal, tax, or accounting rules require.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the information we hold about you, or to stop contacting you, and we'll respond within 45 days. To stop our emails, reply "stop" to any of them. Customers can ask for a copy of their site's text and photos at any time.

Children

Our services are for businesses and aren't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top. If a change materially affects customers, we'll email them first.
